Hi Everyone – the days are speeding by and I wanted to remind you that we need your submissions by October 15th, for inclusion in the next House of Herps carnival. We could also use a host! Please use our contact page for either. Thanks!
I have just finished reading Seabrooke Leckie’s fairy-tale-themed presentation of House of Herps #10. Wow! Seabrooke has crafted a rhyming story, based on the fairy tale, The Frog Prince, cleverly weaving in this month’s submissions. Here’s just a sample:
“Ten minutes later she was startled awake
By the sudden appearance on her lap of a snake.
A small narrow green thing with little black eyes;
From its expression it shared her surprise.”
Be sure to visit House of Herps #10: The Frog Prince to read the whole story (and follow links to a fine collection of herp posts)!
The next HoH needs a host! If you would like to host, please let us know! You can use our contact form, or send an email to hosting[at]houseofherps[dot]com.
If you would like to contribute to the next House of Herps, please send a link to your post to submissions[at]houseofherps[dot]com.
Andrea Jaszlics has put together a fun and exciting “Back to School” edition of House of Herps! Andrea’s clever presentation of this month’s amphibian and reptile blog posts is a fun read in its own right. The featured authors are sure to please with their “class” offerings – so be sure to visit Worm Salad for course descriptions and directions to each classroom!
